Angela Ellis is Vice President of Original Content & Entertainment, leading NFL Media’s multiplatform content production and music department. She oversees multiple production teams, including Entertainment & Initiatives (social impact, DEI & entertainment content), Creative Content Group (Emmy-winning NFL 360 & special features), Strategic Content Group (VOD, Sponsor & Club content), and Music (live music events including Super Bowl Halftime Show, music content partnerships, and licensing). She is also the executive in charge of Good Morning Football and the NFL Honors award show.

Before joining the NFL in 2021, Angela was the Executive Broadcast Producer of ABC’s Good Morning America, the country’s most-watched morning show with more than 4 million daily viewers. She led daily editorial coverage and directed a global staff of anchors, correspondents, producers, field crews and writers. Angela’s leadership helped the show win the Emmy for Outstanding Morning Television Program for two consecutive years and drove GMA’s ratings to number one in the highly competitive landscape of morning television. Angela joined ABC News in 2008 as a producer, covering events like the 2011 Royal Wedding, the 2012 presidential election, and several Academy Awards. Prior to ABC News, Angela lived in Rome, Italy and Cairo, Egypt, producing documentaries for The Discovery Channel, National Geographic and the Italian network RAI. She began her career at Dateline NBC, earning two Emmys and several nominations for her work. Angela is from Los Angeles and received her BA in Communications from the University of California, Berkeley and her MS from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
