Speaker Bio
Sean Patrick MacDonald is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of SimCraft, the U.S.-based leader in high-fidelity motion simulation. A pioneer in simulator architecture, Sean developed a physics-based motion system that rotates a cockpit at its center of mass — a radically efficient, vehicle-realistic alternative to traditional brute-force platforms.
With nearly two decades of experience at the helm of SimCraft, Sean has grown the company organically with no outside capital, delivering championship-level engineering to motorsport, aviation, and commercial applications. His work is rooted in mechanical precision, software innovation, and a deep understanding of how humans perceive motion and realism in simulation.
Sean’s simulators are trusted by racing champions, elite training programs, and global tech leaders — including the VP of Engineering at Google. SimCraft systems are installed around the world and are reshaping how motion simulation is understood, deployed, and experienced.
