Caitlyn Ranson joined Bridgestone in May 2022 and leads Brand Partnerships and Events Activation across Bridgestone West, which includes the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa. In her role, Caitlyn oversees the company’s marketing partnership efforts, brand activations, and Meetings & Events. She is charged with exploring, cultivating and executing impactful brand marketing partnerships and activations that align with Bridgestone’s strategic objectives and deliver positive, long-term results for current and future customers.
Prior to joining Bridgestone, Caitlyn spent seven years with GMR Marketing and worked across multiple Fortune 500 accounts including Proctor & Gamble, Salesforce and Lowe’s Home Improvement, generating award-winning campaigns that bridged sport and community. During her time at GMR, Caitlyn also executed successful global brand campaigns across the Olympics and Paralympics, NBA, NFL and NCAA properties.
In her current role, Caitlyn oversees brand partnership activities across a portfolio that includes the NFL, NHL, MiLB, PGA TOUR, and emerging motorsports platforms like the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge and the Indy Autonomous Challenge. She has focused her work on helping Bridgestone evolve beyond broad and traditional sports marketing initiatives to deliver activations that create a deeper connection to the core purpose of the company and its customers. These efforts have included a renewed focus on driving purpose-driven community and teammate engagement that advances key priorities and foundational values (mobility, environment, and people) that are shared between Bridgestone, its customers, and its partner organizations.
Caitlyn is also committed to leadership and engagement across the company in communities where Bridgestone teammates live, work and play. Caitlyn actively spends time with Bridgestone teammates and partners speaking about the importance of community engagement and the ability for sports to develop long-lasting skills both on and off the field. Caitlyn also regularly devotes her time to speaking engagements and mentoring sessions that provide educational and exposure opportunities for Nashville’s youth. Additionally, she is a member of Bridgestone’s Women Initiative Network (BWIN) and has been selected for several emerging women’s leadership development programs.
Caitlyn earned her Bachelor of Business and Sports Management from Belmont Abbey College, where she was also a member of the NCAA Division II Varsity Women’s Basketball team.
