Neumiia Duncan-Reed is an experienced and influential community leader who has worked in various industries over the course of her 20-year career. She has worked in the financial, real estate, non-profit, professional services, higher education, and sports and entertainment sectors, gaining valuable insights into navigating complex work environments.
Neumiia’s professional passions are rooted in corporate strategy, developing workplace culture, organizational expansion, program development, talent recruitment, and community engagement.
Neumiia’s career in sports and entertainment started at Oracle Arena and Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum as the Director of Human Resources. While in Oakland she developed and implemented HR strategies, and managed internal claims, compliance, and employee relations including union memberships. Neumiia also supported senior leadership and department heads with strategic and operational objectives.
In 2019, Neumiia began her role as the head of Human Resources and Community Impact at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, she holds the responsibility of all aspects of people management, employee engagement, DE&I, safety and risk, and community impact. As it relates to HR, Neumiia is responsible for the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and systems for compliance, talent recruitment, benefits, safety training and protocols, while also developing employee programs that support diversity, equity, inclusion, and a vibrant workplace culture.
Neumiia is also responsible for the dynamic development and execution of all community focused programming for the Community Benefits Plan, which was created to ensure the greatest possible participation by all segments of the local community within the economic opportunities available at Allegiant Stadium. Under her leadership, multiple successful programs for supplier diversity, career development, community engagement, and workforce diversity were developed. Some notable inaugural programs include GridIron Pitch, which is focused on procurement opportunities for local, small, and diverse businesses and a robust internship program for undergraduate and graduate students. Neumiia also chaired a community advisory board of local industry leaders to identity and facilitate programs for disadvantaged youth which
resulted in the execution of a free entrepreneurial summer camp, Raiders Den, and the Allegiant Stadium Health and Wellness Fair for student athletes. Neumiia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix
