With 20+ years of strategic planning, marketing, and budgeting experience, Shani Coleman is an economic developer with proven success in creating new business opportunities to drive strategic growth throughout Southern Nevada. As the current director of the newly formed Office of Community and Economic Development for Clark County, NV, Ms. Coleman applies her extensive skills and experience, along with her passion for the community she calls home, to build awareness of the opportunities that exist beyond the lights of Las Vegas. This work drives new growth and investment throughout unincorporated Clark County, and helps shape a better, brighter future for residents and businesses alike.

In addition to economic development, Ms. Coleman is skilled in local, regional and federal government relations, having served as the chief lobbyist for the city of Las Vegas.

Ms. Coleman holds a master’s degree in Public Administration and a Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
