amie Schwartz serves as the Director of Industry and Business Engagement for the Economic Development Office at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where she leads efforts to connect university research and innovation with industry to support regional economic growth. A lifelong Las Vegas resident and UNLV MBA alum, Jamie previously founded and operated companies in pharmaceutical research and business valuation before transitioning to higher education. In her current role, she focuses on technology commercialization, and corporate engagement as well as development of UNLV’s Research and Technology Park.
