Harrison Laifer is an award-winning sponsorship strategy and brand partnerships leader who currently serves as Head of Sponsorships at New York Life. In this role, Harrison is responsible for implementing strategic marketing initiatives, developing always-on activation campaigns that grow brand awareness, drive sales, and deepen brand affinity among New York Life clients, prospects, employees and more than 12,000 agents nationwide. Harrison and his team oversee the relationship with professional and recreational teams, leagues, federation, competitions, governing bodies, associations and active and retired athletes.
Prior to this role, Harrison was a Vice President, Brand Partnerships at Morgan Stanley, where he successfully aligned the firm's brand with global employees' and clients' interests through strategic sponsorships across sports, entertainment, arts, and culture, managing substantial budgets and driving year-over-year brand favorability growth. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Harrison was an Associate Manager, Global Partnerships at the National Basketball Association where he helped manage the Sporting Goods business unit and a portfolio of marquee NBA partners. Harrison began his career at the Brooklyn Nets and held a variety of roles including Global Merchandising & Branding Manager, where he spearheaded all merchandise and team identity initiatives.
Harrison holds a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from The David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics at Syracuse University. Harrison is a member of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) , a member of the Syracuse University Emerging Leaders Sport Management Alumni Council, and a member of The Leaders Club . He lives in New York City with his wife, Adrienne.
