About
The Sports, Entertainment, and Innovation Conference (SEICon) presents the inaugural SEICon Case Cup Challenge—a premier case competition designed to challenge the brightest minds in sport analytics, business, and innovation.
This two-round competition invites undergraduate and graduate student teams to tackle real-world challenges facing mega sporting events, from fan engagement strategies to sustainable value creation. The challenge culminates in live finals at SEICon 2026, where top teams will present their solutions to industry leaders, network with professionals, and compete for recognition and prizes.
The Challenge
Teams will analyze fan experience innovation at major sporting events (FIFA World Cup 2026, 2028 Summer Olympics, Formula 1 Global Season, or Major Golf Championships), delivering data-driven strategies that balance in-venue attendance with digital engagement, maximize economic impact, and create sustainable fan value.
